Introducing a bright new future

BXB Land Solutions Ltd is bringing forward proposals to regenerate derelict land at the former Carus Mill site in Hoddlesden.

This 7-acre brownfield site has lain redundant since 2003 and is a blight.

BXB is currently in the process of preparing a comprehensive Masterplan for the site in readiness for the submission of a planning application within the next few months.

Our architects have completed initial feasibility work so that we can understand the potential of the site and we share our initial thinking with you below.

We want to know what the people and stakeholders of Hoddlesden think and this is your opportunity to help shape our final masterplan.  Please have a read and share your thoughts with us.

Background

BXB is an SME development company that specialises in delivering brownfield and contaminated land to the UK development sector, by bringing redundant industrial land back into productive use.

The company has a strong track record and currently has three live planning applications which will regenerate 145 acres of brownfield land and deliver 1,350 residential units in locations at Preston, St Helens, Co Durham and Widnes.

As a specialist in its field, BXB and its project team has the skills and expertise to bring the mill site back to productive use for the benefit of the local community.

Working in partnership with the public sector and local stakeholders is at the core of BXB’s approach and discussions with key public sector partners have already taken place.

Work is well underway to gain a complete picture of the site’s constraints, opportunities and an understanding of the market’s requirements in this part of Lancashire.
